Dead Or Alive 6 To Appear At Evo 2018

Koei Tecmo to host mini-tournament, fist consumer build of Dead or Alive 6 to be playable on show floor

Dead or Alive 6

The latest entry in Team Ninja’s long-running fighting game series will be making it to the big show this year.

Publisher Koei Tecmo America today confirmed that the first consumer playable build Dead or Alive 6 will be revealed at Evolution Championship Series (Evo) 2018 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, August 3-4. The game will be both playable at Koei Tecmo’s booth on the show floor, and will also be featured on stage in a mini-tournament. Fans looking to make some serious pocket change will also be able to participate in a Dead or Alive 5: Last Round championship for a chance to claim $6,000 in prize pool cash.

We at Hey Poor Player recently had the chance to go hands-on with Dead or Alive 6 during our meeting with Koei Tecmo America at E3 2018. And while the build we got to experience was a bit lean – the game was only announced four days before the event, after all – we walked away from our demo very impressed with what Team Ninja has managed to do so far. You can read our full Dead or Alive 6 preview here.

Dead or Alive 6 is slated to release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2019. Are you excited to dive back into Team Ninja’s flagship fighting franchise next year? I know I am! Sound off in the comments section below and let us know.
