El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron creator Takeyasu Sawaki’s latest epic, The Lost Child, is now available for the PlayStation 4, Vita, and Nintendo Switch, the game’s publisher NIS America announced today.

In the game, players take on the role of Occult journalist Hayato Ibuki as he explores Layers between reality and the realm of the supernatural in an effort to uncover the truth behind a spree of mysterious murders. To uncover the secret behind the killings, Ibuki will make use of the Gangour Gun to capture spirits known as Astrals and recruit them to fight alongside side him. And with over 100 Astrals to capture, that mystical firearm is going to be getting plenty of use during his mission to save the world from destruction.
