Killer Queen Black Coming To Switch & PC

Guaranteed to blow your mind

Killer Queen, BumbleBear Games’ local multiplayer arcade platformer/strategy game, is coming to Nintendo Switch as Killer Queen Black. Nintendo made the announcement today during its E3 2018 Nintendo Direct presentation.

Killer Queen Black is a ground-up redesign of the arcade game, as advised in the presentation. It started life as a 10-player arcade cabinet. Killer Queen Black will offer four-on-four play. It’s the first home playable version of the game, and looks to be coming to Nintendo Switch first.

Nintendo of America president, Reggie Fils-Aime, advised people will be able to “play it first on Nintendo Switch,” hinting that other platforms will also get a taste. And indeed, a news release from co-developers BumbleBear and Liquid Bit confirmed a Windows PC release is coming. Reggie Fils-Aime gave a 2018 release date in the presentation, yet developers said Killer Queen Black is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.
