New Star Wars Game: Jedi: Fallen Order Announced and Battlefront 2 News

May the force be with you

Star Wars Battlefront II

Vince Zampella from Respawn hinted at a new Star Wars game at EA’s E3 press conference, which he revealed would be named Jedi: Fallen Order. He suggested that in this new game the player would be playing as a Jedi. He mentioned it would take place during the dark times when Jedis are being hunted – between Between Episode 3 and Epsiode 4 in the movie timeline. It is to be released in Quarter 4 of 2019. Back on the stage it was announced that Battlefront 2 would be completely overhauling. There is a new hunt mode inspired by original Battlefront games tarting with ewoks in Endor. Fans cheered at this announcement. With the game in the Han Solo season of content a dangerous new planet called Kessel would be announced. New mode “Extraction” was announced as well. It was also suggested a new squad system which would make it “much easier to team up much easier with friends”. They will also be adding new Starfighter mode for dogfighting with hero ships as well as a new large scale mode focusing on command posts. Battlefront 2 will be going deep into clone wars by introducing the leader of powerful droid army General Grevious. Joining them will be the dark lord Count Dooku as well as Anaakin Skywalker.

Jonathan is HeyPoorPlayer's token British person, so expect him to thoroughly exploit this by quoting Monty Python and saying things like "Pip, pip, toodly-whotsit!" for the delight of American readers. He likes artsy-fartsy games, RPGs and RPG-Hybrids (which means pretty much everything at this point). He used to write for Sumonix.com. He's also just realised how much fun it is to refer to himself in the third person like he's The Rock or something.
