The SEES and Phantom Thieves demolish the dance floor in early 2019, new trailer showcases pumping tunes, flashy dance moves.
Are you ready to bust a move with some of your favorite characters from Atlus‘ flagship RPG series? We sure hope so. Because in a move that will probably surprise no one, the publisher today confirmed that their upcoming Vita and PlayStation 4 games, Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, will be making their way to the West in early 2019.
To celebrate the release of these two rhythm games in the West, Atlus has released a new trailer. Watch the cast of both games cut a rug below:
In Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) and the Phantom Thieves are each whisked away to a secret room, known only as Club Velvet. after awakening, each group finds themselves face-to-face with enigmatic Velvet Room residents and are forced to perform at a mysterious dance party, unaware of what lies ahead of them.
The games each feature 25 of Shoji Meguro’s classic tracks, composed by Ryota Kozuka, in addition to remixes by ATOLS, Lotus Juice, ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo / block.fm), Jazztronik, and more. Purists will also appreciate the inclusion of dual audio tracks, allowing players to experience each game in English and Japanese.
Both titles were released simultaneously in Japan on May 24th of this year.
For those attending E3 in Los Angeles next week, a playable demo of Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight will be available at the ATLUS / SEGA booth at West Hall #5222.
