The Blue Bomber returns this October in Mega Man 11, new trailer showcases stages, Double Gear System, and two new Robot Masters
Late last year, Capcom announced that we’d once again blasting robot masters as the Blue Bomber when Mega Man 11 released sometime in 2018. Sadly, since then it’s been largely radio silence on Capcom’s end. However, six nearly six months since the game was first announced, the developer today confirmed that Mega Man 11 will be making its way to the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 2, 2018.
To mark the occasion, Capcom has released a new trailer offering a fresh look at the game in action. The footage offers a glimpse of the game’s colorful 2.5D visuals, devious stage designs, explosive boss battles, as well as a look at the new Double Gear system, which allows Mega Man to boost either his attack power or speed.

While I have to admit I’ve been a bit skeptical about the future of the franchise, I have to admit that Mega Man 11 is looking pretty impressive so far. Here’s hoping the end result is the sequel fans of the series have been hoping for when the game releases this fall.
So, what do you think of the latest trailer? Are you looking forward to scrapping Block Man, Fuse Man, and the rest of Wily’s baddies this October? Sound off in the comments section and let us know.
