Historical Horror Game The Last DeadEnd to be Released on Steam
Game developers Azdimension will release their new title The Last DeadEnd on Steam this week. The game has been described by its creators as an adventure game combined with elements of horror and a first-person shooter. The game takes place in Old City, an actual area in Baku, capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the home country of its creators. Old City has a thousand years’ worth of history, including ancient palaces, towers, caravanserais and mosques.
Some of these locations have been used as locations for The Last DeadEnd, including a flooded fortress, an ancient palace and ancient ruins. Along with elements from the games home city, the game is linked to the ancient religion Zoroastrianism, which originated in Azerbaijan.
The story follows a young scientist-linguist Farhad, who has returned home from the US to help in filming a movie. He then faces strange events related to Zoroastrianism and has to find out the reasons for these events. You get to explore the very unique world from both the first and third person, seeing the numerous references to historical objects, characters and symbols.
The Last DeadEnd will be available on steam from the 5th May, with a 15% discount during release week.
