Nintendo has finally revealed their E3 2018 plans, including the times for their Video Presentation, Treehouse Live, and the Splatoon 2/Smash Bros. Switch tournaments. You can see the times in in the pic below:
As seen above, Nintendo will begin their Video Presentation on June 12 at 9 AM PST; in other words, that’s on the first day of E3. Once that ends, Nintendo Treehouse Live will begin immediately afterwards with the new Smash Bros. game. A press release that included this schedule confirmed the show will focus on games only releasing in 2018, with future games being detailed at a later date. Currently, Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 remain unknown in terms of release, although a recent fiscal report from Nintendo mentioned the upcoming Pokémon Switch game was scheduled for “2018 or later,” so stay tuned!
Meanwhile, the opening rounds for the Splatoon 2 World Championship will begin on June 11 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM PST, and the finals start on June 12 at an unknown time. After that concludes, the Super Smash Bros. Invitational will begin right after. We expect concrete times as the event nears.
