Banned Board Games: Episode Two – Public Assistance
We welcome you to enjoy the second video in our new series: Banned Board Games. This series looks at board games that, for whatever reason, were deemed too radical, offensive or unusual for the public to play. This time we look at an infamous “satire of the welfare system.” Public Assistance. Released in 1980, this board game is a black mark on tabletop history, with the intention of offending as many people as possible. If you’re curious to know what some dark, depraved minds thought of the welfare system, I don’t recommend playing Public Assistance, but I do recommend watching this video!
