Everyone wants a piece of that Switch pie!
The third-party Switch influx just keeps on coming, with the likes of Undertale, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Okami HD making their way to Nintendo’s ever-popular console. All revealed in today’s glorious Nintendo Direct, certain games were more tight-lipped on the details, as we can see with the below Undertale trailer and its refusal to give an exact release date:
But thankfully, others were more willing to share details. For instance, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is practically identical to last year’s PS4/Xbox One/PC release, releasing next month with both DLC packs avaliable individually or both within a Season Pass. Meanwhile, Okami HD makes unique use of the Nintendo Switch hardware, with touchscreen controls in handheld mode or Joy-Con motion controls in TV/Tabletop mode to utilize the Celestial Brush.
And hey, remember when you wished the Crash Bandicoot games were on N64? Well, that didn’t come true, but at least they finally made it to a Nintendo console twenty years later! By the way, it’s being ported to Xbox One and PC, too.
