If you were expecting to enjoy the boons of the Xenoblade Chroinicles 2 patch this week, you’ll unfortunately have to wait just a little longer: both the game’s Japanese Twitter account and Nintendo’s UK Twitter announced it will be experiencing a two-week delay to March 2nd. The reason? A bug was found in the update data, so it’ll take some time for Nintendo and Monolith Soft to iron out the kinks.
In case you hadn’t heard, said patch is version 1.3 and will introduce a number of QOL changes, including skipping new Blade awakenings, an Easy Mode, an updated mini-map that includes fast travel icons, and sort functionalities for Blades, Accessories and Assist Cores. Furthermore, Advanced New Game Plus will be made available, which can carry over Blades, Driver Levels, Driver/Blade progression/equipment, items and gold, Town Development/Mercenary levels, and Event Theater content. There’s also a number of story-related goodies, but to respect players who haven’t completed it yet, we’ll just drop a link here for the curious.
