UPDATE 2: Actually, it may be possible the press release was launched too early: NOA’s Twitter announced this morning it’d be coming the 14th (a day earlier than we previously reported, which was the Japanese release date), and there are currently no updates accessible for the game. We’ll let you know what’s going on as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Looks like we spoke a bit too soon, as Nintendo of America has announced the DLC pack is now available. We’re not quite sure why we’re getting it earlier than Japan, but regardless, it’s now ready for you to enjoy.

Fire Emblem Warriors fans can expect the next round of DLC to hit next Wednesday (February 14th), this time focusing on Shadow Dragon content. Navarre, Minerva, and Linde will join the cast as playable characters alongside a host of new content including History Maps, costumes, weapons, skills and blessings. You can check out scans and other translated information here.

Just like in their classic appearances, all three characters appear in their original classes: Myrmidon (Navarre), Wyvern Knight (Minerva) and Mage (Linde). Both Minerva and Linde are expected to play like Camilla and Robin, respectively, and careful analysis of Navarre’s base-game CPU has revealed a similar moveset to Lyn. We’ll update our Fire Emblem Warriors Beginner’s Guide to accommodate this information once they launch.

Furthermore, like in the Fates DLC, each character comes accompanied with a History Map, this time referencing their Shadow Dragon recruitment maps: Devil Mountain (Navarre), Princess Minerva (duh), and Norda Market (Linde). As seen above, new costumes will be available for the base-game Shadow Dragon cast (Marth, Caeda and Tiki) and Lyn (who takes on her Awakening DLC appearance), alongside “broken armor” outfits for those same Shadow Dragon characters, Anna and Celica.

Rounding out the DLC is a raised level cap (130), new weapon skills (such as Finisher Focus, which renders it easier to deplete enemy Stun Gauges), QOL improvements (no more confirmations at the Crest Market!), Caeda’s new weapon (Wing Spear), and new blessings (such as making it easier to raise bonds).
