Life is Strange is a five-part adventure game that follows the story of 18-year-old photography student Max Claufield, who discovers that she can rewind time and change the past. After having a premonition about her hometown being destroyed in a storm, Max goes back in time to rescue a woman who turns out to be her childhood friend Chloe. Max then uses her powers to attempt to save her town, but with each journey having a butterfly effect on the world around her. Choices the player makes throughout the game affect outcomes and character relationships. The first three chapters will be released on 14th December with the remaining two chapters to follow in 2018.
The game is already incredibly popular, having reportedly sold around four million copies as of October this year. The original version of the game is available on Steam, PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm was released during August of this year and a sequel Life is Strange 2 is currently in development.
Notable features of the iOS version include new Life is Strange iMessage Stickers and the ability to share stories and compare choices over social media.
