Evil Within 2

Your worst nightmares are just around the corner, survival horror fans. Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami’s The Evil Within 2 is slated to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this Friday, October 13. To celebrate the occasion, publisher Bethesda has released a terrifying new launch trailer for the game.

The footage offers a look at the horrifying sights detective Sebastien Castellanos will encounter as he explores the streets of Union in search of his daughter, Lily. We get a glimpse at many of the grotesque STEM creatures he’ll battle, crumbling locations he’ll explore. Additionally, maniacs like the twisted photographer Stefano and the ‘righteous’ priest Theodore make appearances, and are sure to make things difficult for Sebastien as he fights his way through a crumbling nightmare world following the events of the first game.

Don’t just take my word for it. Check out the Evil Within 2 launch trailer below:

The Evil Within 2 is published by Bethesda and developed by Tokyo-based studio Tango Gameworks.
