How will it be played?
metroid: samus returns

Ready for the Nintendo World Championships to start this October 7th? Then you’ll be interested in knowing the latest Metroid game will be featured at the event! Metroid: Samus Returns‘ participation was confirmed in the video below:

Before you start asking yourself how a single-player adventure could, don’t forget Super Metroid was featured two years ago at the previous championship, wherein contestants raced to eliminate Mother Brain. As Samus Returns is still new, however, we expect its segment to involve a less-spoilerly section. What that will be is unknown, so you’ll just have to tune in to find out!

An official stream for the event will be broadcast here at 5 PM ET on October 7th. The event will be hosted by online personality Andrea Rene and feature play-by-play/analysis by sports broadcaster Jordan Kent.
