Atelier series fans, rejoice! Koei Tecmo America has announced that Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings will indeed releasing in the West next year.

Following Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, and Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious JourneyAtelier Lydie & Suelle marks the final chapter in the Mysterious Atelier trilogy. Players will guide budding alchemist and twin sisters Lydie and Suelle Marlen as they work in their family atelier and help their father — an alchemist who, due to lack of experience, doesn’t see too much business. While working, the sisters one day find a beautiful and mysterious painting. Aside from looking nice, the painting possesses a special ability — the ability to draw those who touch it into a world filled with rare achemical ingredients. Determined to use this unique opportunity to their advantage, Lydie and Suelle set out on a journey to make their family atelier the best in the world.

The release of Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings will officially mark the 20th year of the Atelier series. The game is slated to release in the West on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam sometime in early 2018.
