Indie publisher Versus Evil (The Banner Saga) today announced plans to partner with Obsidian Entertainment to publish Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, the sequel to Obsidian’s hit 2015 cRPG which was published by Stockholm, Sweden-based publisher Paradox Interactive.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire expands on the rock-solid foundation of the original game. The sequel features more detailed graphics, expanded game mechanics, increased player choices, a new companion relationship system, streamlined combat, and more.
