Etrian Odyssey V’s new character classes may not fare well on the front lines, but you’ll want them at your side
ATLUS today released a pair of new character class trailers for their upcoming 3DS DRPG Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth.
In the latest trailers we get a look at both the Necromancer and Rover character classes. Rovers are masters in ranged attacks who also have the ability to harness the power of nature to enlist animals to provide both offense and defense support. Additionally, Necromancers are masters of the undead arts, and while they’re squishy in a fight, they can conjure wraiths to do their dirty work. Wraiths can also be sacrificed heal the party, disable enemy defenses, and increase the party’s magical prowess.
Check out the character trailers for both of these classes below:
Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth will release on October 17 for the Nintendo 3DS. Those wanting an early taste of the action can download the newly-released demo from the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Your progress from the demo will carry over to the full game when it releases next month.
