Bird In Sky and Crunchy Leaf Games today announced that their narrative-driven game of intergalactic space exploration, 3030 Deathwar Redux, is now available on Steam and Humble. A project 10-years in the making, the game fuses Elite-style space exploration with classic comedic adventuring, open-world, exploration, and frantic space-based combat.
To mark the occasion, co-developers Bird in Sky and Crunchy Leaf Games have released a launch trailer for showcasing the game’s unique genre-bending gameplay. You can check it out for yourself below:
Matt Griffiths of Bird in Sky said: “For 3030, we set out making an homage to the space games of our youth as well as classic LucasArts adventure games, but over the ten years of development the game has become so much more than that.”
“Not only have the graphics and audio been massively improved,” Griffiths continued, “we also got to add lots of new gameplay ideas and fresh content we hadn’t dreamed of at the start. We’re extremely proud of what we’ve achieved, and are delighted to share our hard work with the world today.”
Those wanting to dive into the spacefaring adventure can download 3030 Deathwar Redux today on Steam and Humble for the budget-friendly price of $12.99.
