NISA’s racy strategy game brings colorful conquest to the Vita and Steam this holiday season
During their Gamescom 2017 presentation in Cologne, Germany, publisher NIS America announced that their upcoming strategy game, Tokyo Tattoo Girls, will be making its way to Steam and the PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe on November 14 and November 17, 2017, respectively.
Here’s a breakdown of Tokyo Tattoo Girls’ story courtesy of a press release provided by NISA:
“After a calamity befalls Tokyo, some of the city’s survivors find themselves with powerful abilities bestowed on them by colorful tattoos. The city is cordoned off from the world, its inhabitants isolated. To create peace, the city has been divided into 23 Wards, each controlled by a powerful group known as a “Clan.” Together, these Clans form the “Syndicate.” It’s rumored that escape from the devastated city is possible, but only for the person who manages to defeat all 23 Clans…”
To conquer the vile forces of the Syndicate, players are going to require all the help they can get. That’s where your companion comes in. In Tokyo Tattoo Girls, players can choose a companion to lend a helping hand. You can then ink up your companion with a variety of traditional Japanese tattoos designed by artist Koji Tanaka to grant each Tattoo Girl special abilities.
Stay tuned for more details on the game as it’s November release date draws near.
