Yet another Pokémon Go datamine has revealed we’ll be moving on to another generation: Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire! As catalogued in this reddit thread, the names of all 135 Pokémon from the GBA/3DS titles have been found within the mobile app’s data, so we can assume it’s only a matter of time before we see them pop up in the wild. However, this may not be for a while: as the thread notes, none of the sound data or R/S/E moves have been detected, and we imagine that’ll take some time to implement. Just when will we finally be able to catch Mudkip!
Other interesting tidbits have popped up in the datamine, such as a “super incubator”, searching for movesets via text, AR camera changes, and raid updates. Some have more context than others: while the usage of super incubators remains unknown, changes to the Raid feature include the lobby user count and raid and spawn timers. We imagine this’ll all be extensively detailed in the future, but once this is all officially announced, we’ll certainly bring this news to you.
