Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
Early into the Gamescom event this week, Ubisoft released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins. The trailer is completely cinematic, showing zero gameplay. But, it does show off the rise of Egypt. This includes building of pyramids and mummifying people.
The trailers shows off an assassin, Bayek, as he takes down some sort of priest. He gets into a fight with the guards, which shows off plenty of weaponry that will be in the game. He utilizes a shield and blocks an arrow early on. This can be showing some of the mechanics that may play a role in the game. A cobra threatened him before his eagle snatched it. This might mean that wildlife may play a part in the game.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is the tenth major installment in the action-adventure stealth franchise. Players take on the role of Bayek, a Medjay in ancient Egypt during the early days of the Assassins. It’s due out October 27th, 2017 for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. It will also come to the Xbox One X on November 7th, 2017. It will be only single player, with no multiplayer added in this installment at all.
