Phantom of the Kill gets new Elysium Quest

Nature and technology will collide in this all-new journey

Elysium Phantom of the Kill

Gumi Inc. and Fuji&gumi Games have announced today that they will be releasing Elysium, an all-new quest line for their tactical mobile RPG, Phantom of the Kill.

Elysium’s story begins with your character witnessing a highly advanced civilization being destroyed by monsters. Just as your own life is about to be taken by the onslaught, you are rescued by a sword-wielding maiden. When you come to, you find yourself in a field of flowers, unable to remember much of anything. Before you can collect your thoughts you once again find yourself being attacked by monsters, only to be saved once again by a sword-wielding maiden. The maiden introduces yourself as Tyrfing — and you can’t help but feel as though she was the same woman from your dreams.

The purpose of Elisyim is for players to discover an all-new story and see how it relates back to the main game. Currently, only the first chapter of Elysium — Ragna in Peril — is available, but Gumi plans to roll out more chapters in the near future.

Phantom of the Kill, as well as Elysium Chapter 1 are available now via the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store. Are any of you out there fans of Phantom of the Kill? Are you excited to dig into Elysium? Let us know in the comments below!

Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side,Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
