Egglia: Legend of the Redcap Launch Date Revealed

Egglia will be heading West next month

Developer Powerchord Studios has announced that Egglia: Lgend of the Redcap will be available next month on August 3rd, and have released further details on the game.

Egglia will have players guiding Chabo the elf through the aptly named world of Egglia as he attempts to restore the world around him. Gameplay will take place as a turn-based RPG on a hexagonal grid that will have players hunting for monsters in order to gain experience and gathering resources. Combat takes place through a unique turn-based system that utilizes dice, and will become progressively harder as players continue through their quest.

Players can also expect to meet new companions throughout their adventure, and create a village for them. Players will be able to design each villager’s house as they see fit, using plenty of customization items and tools.

Throughout their adventure, players will also find a number of eggs. These eggs can then be hatched in order to unlock new lands which, in turn can be explored in order to uncover new materials for their village — and possibly even more new eggs!
