SquareEnix will soon commence Closed Online Testing for FFXV
SquareEnix has announced that they will soon begin Closed Online Testing for the Final Fantasy XV multiplayer DLC, Comrades.
In Comrades, players will be able to create their own custom avatars and form groups with up to three other people as they embark on an all-new quest to bring the Light back to the Kingdom of Lucis. The DLC will allow for the use of voice chat, and preset chat messages.
SquareEnix has confirmed that all eligible players who successfully meet the pre-set entry conditions will be allowed to download and participate in the Comrades Closed Online Test on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. More information regarding Comrades can be found on their official website.
Comrades is slated to release later this year. The DLC will be immediately available for those who purchased the Season Pass, and can also be purchased separately. In order to participate, players will need a subscription to either PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold and, of course, a copy of Final Fantasy XV. Considering the issues that FFXV has had in the past, Comrades‘ development certainly has the potential to be interesting. What are your thoughts on the matter? Let us know in the comments below!
