Blazblue Cross Tag Battle is the Arc System Works collab that you’ve been waiting for
EVO 2017 may have come and gone, but Arc System Works’ Blazblue Cross Tag Battle announcement has ensured that fighting game fans have plenty to look forward to in the future.
The Blazblue Cross Tag Battle trailer begins somewhat cryptically, with Ragna the Bloodege and Jin Kisaragi discussing various “possibilities” (most likely hinting at the game’s story). After their short conversation, Ragna and Jin are joined by Hyde and Yu Narukami and begin their battle. The list of confirmed Cross Tag Battle characters thus far is as follows:
- Ragna the Bloodedge – Blazblue
- Jin Kisaragi – Blazblue
- Yu Narukami – Persona 4 Arena
- Hyde – Under Night In-Birth
- Ruby – RWBY
Blazblue Cross Tag Battle is slated for release sometime in 2018. No further information on the game has been given out thus far.
