Magical Drop 2 Busts Bubbles On The Nintendo Switch Today

Hamster brings one of the Neo Geo’s most beloved puzzlers to the Switch with Magical Drop 2

Magical Drop 2

If you’re a Switch owner with a penchant for puzzlers then you’re in luck. One of the finest puzzle games of the 1990’s has landed on the Nintendo Switch eShop today courtesy of Hamster as part of their ACA NEOGEO line of re-releases from SNK’s celebrated console and arcade system in the form of Magical Drop 2.

Originally released by Data East in 1996, Magical Drop 2 is a highly addicting competitive puzzle game where players take on the role of various colorful avatars and battle it out for sphere-matching supremacy.

You can check out Magical Drop 2’s Switch launch trailer below:

If this looks up your alley then shoot on over toe the Switch eShop. Magical Drop 2 may retail for $7.99, but the look of soul-crushing disappointment when you shatter your friends’ pride in the two-player competitive mode is priceless.

Real talk: this is one game I seldom take out of my personal Neo Geo cabinet. That said, if you haven’t played the game yet then you’re in for a real treat. So, will you be adding this Neo Geo classic to your collection today? Be sure to sound off in the comments section and let us know.
