Team up and dish out damage in Warriors All-Stars
Koei Tecmo America has released a new trailer for Warriors All-Stars today, featuring the finer points of party-based combat.
While players can still expect Omega Force’s trademark “one-versus-thousands” style of gameplay, All-Stars will have a few tricks up its sleeve to keep things unique. Players will be able to recruit up to four Warriors to fight at their side. These Warriors will be able to execute special attacks, such as the Musou Rush, which can be used to raise morale and clear out any foes that may be in your immediate area. Hero Skills will also be available, and will allow players to summon a chosen ally to their side in order to perform a special move. Certain heroes can also be paired up to unleash Combo Skills, which are even more powerful than standalone Hero Skills.
Players will also be able to receive assistance from allied Warriors during combos and chain attacks. Hero Combos can be triggered at the end of successful combos, allowing the player and their chosen Warrior to perform a powerful finishing attack together. Hero Chains allow players to link multiple Warriors together to deal out a series of devastating blows. Players are able to take control of any summoned Warrior during a Hero Chain as well. As Warriors fight together and perform Hero Chains with one another, their Brave Rating will increase. A higher Brave Rating will improve both offensive and defensive stats and, once high enough, unlocks the ability to perform powerful Awakening Skills.
Warriors All-Stars is slated for release on August 29. Which characters are you looking forward to using in this All-Star battle royale? Let us know in the comments below!
