SEGA and ATLUS Release Trailers for All Confirmed E3 Games

Yakuza, Etrian Odyssey, Shin Megami Tensei, and more!

Sega and ATLUS E3

Sega and ATLUS have both confirmed plenty of titles already at this year’s E3, but keeping track of all of them can get kind of confusing. So, to help everyone out, they have re-released showcase trailers for all of their confirmed games thus far. You can check out the videos, as well as official descriptions for each game, below.

Yakuza Kiwami

In 2005, a legend was born on teh PlayStation 2 – the legend of Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, in his video game debut with Yakuza. Now, 11 years after that release, a new generation of players will be able to experience the incomparable action and drama of the Yakuza series with the rebuilt-from-scratch HD remake exclusive to PlayStation 4, Yakuza KiwamiKiwami adds tons of new story depth over the PS2 original, new distractions around the in-game setting of Kamurocho, added side quests, updated mechanics and comat, and much more. Topping it all off, Yakuza Kiwami will be getting both physical and digital editions, and for the first time in the West, will exclusively feature a re-recording of the original Japanese dialogue.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life

Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Doima (and the main protagonist of Sega’s long running Yakuza franchise) will find out exactly how much people are willing to sacrifice for family – be those ties through blood or bond – when Yakuza 6: The Song of Life releases in the West. The game is coming to consoles only on PlayStation 4, and thanks to the new “Dragon Engine”, is the most advanced Yakuza title to date. From the unparalleled realism of the new setting of Onomichi, a beautiful, sleepy port town in Hiroshima Prefecture, to the latest evolution of Kamurocho, the biggest red-light district in Tokyo, Yakuza 6 is the ultimate iteration the game’s blend of gritty crime story, hyper-explosive combat, and all the vices and distractions those locales have to offer.

Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth

The fifth main installment of the long-running Etrian Odyssey series is ALMOST HERE! Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth chronicles the quest of a new adventurer (hey, that’s you!) as he or she attempts to reach the top of the towering Yggdrasil Tree. For it is said that whoever braves the dangers of the dreaded Yggdrasil Labyrinth and reaches the summit will have their greatest wish fulfilled… Map making, party building, FOE hunting, and more await!

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology

It’s been six years since Radiant Historia was released on Nintendo DS in 2011, but it’s time to return to Vainquerur and unlock the time traveling power of the White Chronicle once again in Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology. This beloved classic is an expanded Nintendo 3DS port of the original game that will contain a great deal of added gameplay/story content, updated presentation, and new ways to experience the adventure!

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux

Years ago a spatial distortion full of demons appeared in Antarctica, threatening to engulf the Earth in Shin MEgai Tensei: Strange Journey. The United Nations responded by tasking a team of highly advanced specialists with piercing the anomaly and figuring out how to stop it from the source. Well, get ready to don your Demonica once again in this new expanded port: Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux. Expect new story contend, additional endings, a new dungeon to explore, and more in the return of this sci-fi tinged SMT adventure.

Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth

After the events of Mask of Deception, the Yamato Empire is now ruled with an iron fist by a ruthless usurper who seeks to subjugate all before him. It’s up to a couple of familiar faces to band together against the might of the Imperial army, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance as nations and generals must pick a side to fight with in this perilous civil war. Secrets will be revealed, friendships will be tested, and battles will be fought. Will peace and order be restored or will victory at any cost be the beginning of the end?

Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
