If you didn’t experience Idea Factory International’s wacky crossover Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls when it came out last year on the Vita, your chance to do so will be arriving once again when the game hits Steam later this year in June.

Contrary to its name, Neptune V Sega marks Neptunia character (and Idea Factory mascot) IF’s protagonist debut as she travels through time in order to uncover the mysteries behind the now-destroyed world of Gamindustri. Throughout her travels, she will encounter not only familiar Neptunia characters, but personifications of classic Sega consoles known as the Sega Hard Girls. For more information, check out the list of key features below:

  • A History of Sega to Love! – Introducing Sega Hatsumi, Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, Game Gear, and Mega Drive! Familiar faces Neptune, IF, Nepgear, Plutia, and Uzume return as playable characters, all with a wondrous 1080p graphical sheen!
  • Be Anything You Want! – Change classes to switch up stats to customize your team! There are also special skills only specific classes can use!
  • IF is Her Own Stuntman! – Maneuver through treacherous dungeon terrains with various actions like jump, dash, climb, and crawl to reach items or special rewards, and even destroy objects to clear the path ahead!
  • Fever Time! – Jump to obtain the rainbow gem and unleash Fever Time! This reduces enemy turns during battle, enables HDD form, and raises stats by 10% to give you the advantage!

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls will be hitting Steam on June 12. If you’re interested in learning more about the game, feel free to check out our review of the Vita version right here. Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
