Life, Hometown, and HD Rumble
While yesterday’s Nintendo Direct extinsively covered upcoming Switch games like Arms and Splatoon 2 for the West, Japan’s Direct featured content that the rest of us may have missed – including the conformation of a new Senran Kagura title.
The minute-long video didn’t tell us too much about the new SK game, currently going by Shinobi Rife: Senran Kagura, but we did learn one crucial thing – it’s going to make use of the Switch’s HD Rumble feature. Most of the video featured SK series creator Kenichiro Takaki an and unnamed assistant engaging in some rather amusing activities, including messing with with flan, and simultaneously squeezing water balloons while playing around with a JoyCon. Nothing’s been set in stone yet, but I’m sure most of you out there can figure out what all of that’s leading up to. If you’re interested in Takaki’s… erm… “scientific research”, you can check out the video for yourself below.
Nothing else has been confirmed so far, but with the upcoming release of Peach Beach Splash, it’s surprising to see another game being confirmed this quickly. What are your thoughts on the latest Senran Kagura development? Let us know in the comments below!
