Fallout Shelter Migrates to PC

Fallout Shelter lets you the Overseer that you always knew that you could be – now from your PC!

Fallout Shelter

Do you like Fallout Shelter, but wish that you didn’t have to play it on your phone? Well, good news for you – Bethesda has officially released their quirky Vault simulation game for PC!

Rather than sending the player out into the middle of the Wasteland to survive on their own, Fallout Shelter places them in control of a Vault. As Vault Overseer, it will be player’s jobs to take care of their Dwellers as they continue on their never-ending mission to make their Vault the biggest and best that it can be. Being an Overseer isn’t easy, though – with more people and a bigger Vault comes the opportunity for more problems to arise, and it will be up to the player to solve each issue as they come up. Players will also be in charge of sending their Dwellers out into the Wasteland in order to locate new areas, collect supplies, and fight off any enemies that they encounter. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it – and for once, that someone isn’t you!

Fallout Shelter is now available for free on iOS and Android devices, Xbox One and Windows 10 via Play Anywhere, and on PC both through Bethesda’s launcher and Steam. Do you plan on becoming a Vault Overseer any time soon? Have you been playing Fallout Shelter since the beginning? Let us know in the comments below!

Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
