NISA brings one of the Vita’s best dungeon crawlers to Steam today with Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy.
One of the Vita’s best kept secrets has made its way to the PC today. Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy, developer Experience’s (Stranger of Sword City, Demon Gaze) dungeon crawling RPG is now available on Steam, the game’s publisher NIS America announced today.
Additionally, the Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy Digital Deluxe Edition is also available on Steam. Early adopters will save 33% off of the bundle’s $29.97 price. The Digital Deluxe Edition package includes Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy, along with its digital soundtrack and art book.
Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy puts players in control of the Xth Squad, an elite group of high school students (who else?) from the Hinowa Academy who must investigate a mysterious rash of kidnappings that have occurred following the appearance of Sprawl Terrors. These strange phenomena cause cause those unfortunate enough to cross their path to vanish into thin air. In Operation Abyss, players must form a party and explore a variety of perilous dungeons, uncovering the secrets behind the Sprawl Terrors and the monsters known as Variants that have been plaguing the city.
