Nier Automata’s New Trailer Highlights RPG Elements

NieR: Automata’s extended gameplay trailer showcases nearly a half hour of breathtaking action and exploration.

The latest trailer for NieR: Automata showcases some of the RPG elements found in PlatinumGames’ upcoming action-RPG, which is set to release next week on the PlayStation 4. Titled “Exploring Earth’s Distant Future – 30 Minutes of Uninterrupted Gameplay,” the video offers a lengthy glimpse into the game’s various mechanics, showcasing many of the title’s unique systems, skills and features.

NieR: Automata is developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix. The game is slated to release in North America on March 7 for the PS4. The PC version of the game to follow at a later date. Those wanting to get an early taste of what’s in store can download the demo now from the PlayStation Network Store. Additionally, if you’ve been dragging your heels when it comes to securing your copy, you can pre-order the game here. Pre-order and Day One copies of NieR: Automata will include the Machine Mask Accessory, Grimoire Weiss Pod, Play System Pod Skin, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retro Red Skin, and Cardboard Pod Skin.
