Studio Enigami’s JRPG ‘Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom’ Overview Trailer

Shiness: The lightning Kingdom gets detailed overview trailer ahead of games’ launch.

It’s been a while since we saw any fresh news regarding Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom. Thankfully, the long wait is about to come to an end. With just a few weeks until Shiness’ release on consoles and PC, developer Enigami has released a new overview trailer offering a fresh look at this vibrant adventure, the vision for which was born over 20 years ago from the pen of Samir Rebib, Artistic Director of the France-based studio.

Here’s a rundown of what you can expect to find in the trailer courtesy of Enigami:

“Today’s video invites you to the magical world of Shiness supported by a strong artistic direction, enthralling environments, and endearing characters. Explore the world and use your characters’ special powers―Kayenne’s telekinesis, Poky’s electromagnetic field manipulation, and more―to progress in your adventure and find precious parchments, which are key to learn devastating spells and powerful combat techniques.”

Of course, moving pictures are worth a million words. You can check the footage out for yourself below. Spoiler alert: the game looks gorgeous.

Originally scheduled to release last year, Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is slated to release sometime within the next few weeks according to a press release that was sent to us today by the game’s publisher, Focus Home Interactive. The title will be launching on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Pre-orders for the PC version of the game are open on Steam and include the Official Shiness Manga, the Original Soundtrack, and a 15% discount.
