Rainbow Six Siege is coming out of its (Velvet) Shell!
It’s good news for Clancy fans who are getting a bit weary of The Division as Rainbow Six Siege announced Operation Velvet Shell, the first major content update for Year 2 will be available on February 7th for Xbox One, Sony PlayStation and PC. This Year 2 content will further grow the Rainbow Six Siege community experience with two new operators and “Coastline”: a lively, nightlife-based multiplayer map available in both PVP and PVE.
The Coastline map is set on the rocky shores of Ibiza in Spain, where two operators of the Spanish Grupo Especial de Operaciones (G.E.O.) have to safeguard the perimeter of a famous nightclub. Blood and cocktails will be spilled alike! New details on the content of Operation Velvet Shell will be unveiled during the Six Invitational, which will include the first live demo of the new Spanish CTU. To get a first look at Operation Velvet Shell, you can tune in to the livestream at 1:15pm EST on Sunday, February 5th here: https://www.twitch.tv/rainbow6
