Ariana Grande And Square Enix Collide

Free-to-Play just got a little “Pop” in its step

Well ladies and gentlemen, its finally happened. Popular pop music has gone ahead and infected our Japanese mobile games. Its not J-pop, no rather its the type of music that could only come from the Western half of the world. Yes, that is both a sentence I had to type as well as being entirely true.

For those that may not be aware, Square Enix and Ariana Grande are collaborating to bring a character inspired by Ariana herself into Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius. The character, dubbed “Dangerous Ariana” will be available to all those that complete the limited time “Dangerous Woman Tour” event on at least Easy. If just getting the singing sensation isn’t enough of a reward, you can also win special equipment for that Dangerous Ariana. You have only until February 2nd in order to to obtain this character.

To celebrate this announcement, Square Enix has released a remix of one of Ariana Grande’s songs, “Touch It,” which will also play during various stages in this short time frame that this event occurs. If you want to hear that sick beat, you can check out that YouTube video below before trying out Brave Exvius, which I have heard is all the rage. Now if you want to hear just how the heck this merging of these two very different brands happened, you can click right here.

Anthony Spivey loves his handhelds. Ever since getting a Game Boy and Pokemon Blue when they came out, he has rarely set down a handheld, usually to only pick up a console controller. He is frequently on the Hey Poor Podcast, which everyone should listen to. His favorite games include Persona 3 Portable, Pokemon Silver, Sonic Advance 2, and Final Fantasy VI Advance.
