Gritty Squad-Based Tactical Game M.E.R.C. Unloads on Early Access Today

Lock and load, M.E.R.C. blasts its way onto Steam Early Access.

M.E.R.C.

Are you looking for another tactical strategy game to scratch that itch now that you’ve vanquished the alien hordes in XCOM? If so, developer TinyMob just might have what you’re looking for with M.E.R.C., a squad-based real-time tactics title set in a dystopic near future, now available now on Steam Early Access.

Check out the game’s latest trailer below:

M.E.R.C. puts players in control of a mercenary commander for hire, who’s been tasked with infiltrating The Sprawl to cut off Manta’s rise to power and change humanity’s fate. Players take control of an elite squad of four soldiers to wage war against the forces of Manta.

The game’s stages are procedural generated to keep things exciting. Also, while you can take the fight to Manta by yourself, you’ll also be able to enlist the help of a friend in M.E.R.C.’s cooperative multiplayer mode. Strength in numbers, people. That’s what it’s all about.

Those wanting to sign up for service can purchase M.E.R.C. now on Steam for $19.99.
