Final Fantasy XV sales just keep rising
Final Fantasy XV sales have been going well ever since the game’s release, and they aren’t showing any signs of stopping just yet as SquareEnix announces that the game has exceeded over six million units sold across both physical and digital formats.
Final Fantasy XV has sold well since its initial release – pushing five million units alone on day one – and has continued to grow its fanbase since.
Also planned for Final Fantasy XV are several sets of DLC, created in order to add content to and expand the story of the game’s universe. Two DLC packs have already been released – the Holiday Pack (Free Version), and the paid DLC Holiday Pack+. Both the Holiday Pack (Free Version) and the Holiday Pack+ will grant players access to the “Moogle Chocobo Carnival” – a special festival occurring throughout the entire city of the Altissia. The festival will begin on Tuesday, January 24, and will last for a limited time.
Additional content is also scheduled to release for the game, including paid (and possibly more free) DLC that will serve to add to the game’s storyline. As with most games these days, a Season Pass is available for those who want to make sure that they get the most out of the upcoming DLC.
