Final Fantasy XIV’s Latest Trailer Showcases Edge of Fate

Final Fantasy XIV’s upcoming update, The Far Edge of Fate (Patch 3.5),  is set to release on January 17. The update brings a wealth of fresh content to the popular MMORPG.

Some of the additions The Far Edge of Fate update introduces include the Warrior of Light now being able to scale Baelsar’s Wall, the towering structure that divides the Garlean Empire-controlled territories and the three city-states of Eorzea. Players will also return to Sohm Al to explore the holy ground of the dragons. Patch 3.5 will also include the latest chapter in the Shadows of Mhach storyline. Here players will be able to experience an all new alliance raid, a new primal fight against Zurvan, the final member of the Warring Triad, along with new exploratory missions to undertake.

Outside of the new content found in update 3.5, it also brings improvements to the Party Finder so that players from other worlds on the same data center can view, recruit and join parties. PvP will also receive updates to both Frontline and Duel modes, along with a new map coming to The Feast. Players will be able to use the Duty Finder while their chocobo is at their side.
