New trailer showcases Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers’ Synchro Mode.
Publisher KOEI TECMO America today announced some of the new gameplay features and bonuses for early adopters of their upcoming tactical RPG set in the popular Dynasty Warriors series’ universe, Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers.
New Gameplay footage was released today showcasing Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers’ tactical gameplay elements. The game makes use of a gameplay system where players strategically maneuver their units across a battlefield to defeat the enemy army’s forces. Actions take place on a grid, with units moving a select set of spaces before carrying out offensive or defensive maneuvers. Like many similar RPGs, positioning is key, as attacks to the sides and rear of an enemy will deal much more damage than a head on assault. Defeating enemies successfully will enable Synchro Mode, which allows the user to unleash powerful attacks that can turn the tides of a battle.
Also showcased is your ally Lixia. Lixia has strong powers once sealed away into orbs. Lixia’s Orbs are unique objects that can lend an upper hand against tougher opponents, such as searing the battlefield ini flames or flooding enemy strongholds.
