Ron Gilbert’s Thimbleweed Park gets new screens showcasing the places we’ll be exploring when the game releases early next year.
Thimbleweed Park, the upcoming point-and-click adventure from Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert is set to release early next year. Today we get a fresh look at the game, which is being developed alongside fellow LucasFilm Games veteran Gary Winnick and tells the story of two Federal Investigators looking to uncover a mysterious murder in the game’s titular town.
The new screenshots showcase a variety of new locales players will explore in Thimbleweed Park, including a bookstore, post office, convenience store, and a rather dingy hotel room.
Thimbleweed Park is slated to release in the first quarter of 2017 on the Xbox One, Windows, Mac, and Linux, with iOS and Android following a few months later. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting game from one of the genre’s most notable developers as the game’s release draws near.
