Hill Climb Racing 2 speeds onto Android devices today, brings high-speed hi-jinks to iOS in December.
Independent games publisher and developer Fingersoft today announced that their physics-based racer Hill Climb Racing 2 is now available Android devices. The game is the follow-up to Hill Climb Racing, which as been downloaded over half a billion times worldwide. The sequel introduces a host of improvements to the original’s formula including asynchronous online multiplayer, 30 unique stages at launch, improved visuals and a robust physics engine.
“Multiplayer has been the number one request from our fans since Hill Climb Racing first debuted, and we’re thrilled to announce it’s finally here for the sequel,” said Fingersoft CEO Teemu Närhi. “Whether you are challenging your friends or the top of the leaderboard, Hill Climb Racing 2 is full of new ways to prove your skills to the rest of the world.”
In addition to the online mode, Hill Climb Racing 2 also allows players to upgrade their vehicle’s engines, tires, suspension, roll cage, paint job and more while customizing their driver’s appearance by swapping hats, shirts and other accessories.

Hill Climb Racing 2 is available today as a free download. The game is supported by in-app purchases on Android through Google Play. Those wanting to burn some rubber on iOS devices will be able to do so in December.
