Banner Saga 2 goes international in the latest update.
Banner Saga 2 developer Stoic today and publisher Versus Evil announced in a press release that four new languages have been added to their Viking strategy RPG in the most recent update. This means those fluent in the French, German, Polish and Italian languages finally be able to enjoy one of the last year’s most engaging adventures.
This latest update for Banner Saga 2 is for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS and Android versions of the game, as the PC version already supports language options for each of those territories.
In addition to the support for four new languages, the developer also announced the launch of the fully localized game in Japan.
“We are incredibly happy to be launching in Japan and to be able to add additional language support to Banner Saga 2 so that fans of the series all around the world can enjoy this epic saga,” said John Watson, Technical Director at Stoic. “It’s always been our aim to make the game as accessible and rewarding as possible for all our fans.” he added.
In his review of the iOS version of the game earlier this year Alex said, “ Banner Saga 2 is an excellent example as to how mobile platforms can be just as significant for gaming as other platforms. If you like Vikings, strategy, folklore, storytelling, or even just beautiful art, it’s hard to see how you can go wrong with this game.”
