The final two characters are…
After two long years, the last of Hyrule Warriors DLC for both versions (Wii U and 3DS) will be arriving this October 31st …in Japan. There’s no sign of a Western press release, much less a release date, so it’s possible we may have to wait a bit longer for the final round of content.
While the remaining two characters had already been leaked, Ravio and Yuga from 3DS’s The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds have been officially revealed. While no trailers accompany the remaining two characters, screens depicting their battle prowess can be found here.
Yuga, the main antagonist of A Link Between Worlds, is a lightning-type who uses his scepter to cast bolts and summon his deadly painting frames. Ravio, the mysterious ally from the same game, mainly uses a mallet to pummel foes, but can use the rest of his rental stock (such as bombs and ice rods) to crush the opposition.
Like the other newcomers, Ravio and Yuga come included with 3DS-exclusive content for Hyrule Warriors Legends, such as an Adventure Map based on their source material. Screens indicate the squishy Maiamais will be utilized as items for unknown purposes. New My Fairy costumes will be included, as well as alternate ALBW-inspired colors for Twili Midna, Agitha, Ruto, Young Link and Fi. More information is sure to come as translations come through.
