Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure hitting European 3DS this month, Mastiff offers eShop customers free theme
Publisher Mastiff today announced that Falcom’s upcoming Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure will be making its way to the European 3DS eShop on October 27.
Additionally, Mastiff announced they will be offering a free theme-with-purchase to European customers. For a limited time, customers who purchase Gurumin 3D from the European eShop will receive The “Gurumin Party Time Theme” as a gift-with-purchase (from October 27 through November 29).
Previously confirmed for a North American release on October 13, Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure originally released in Japan on the PC in 2004, and later saw release on the PlayStation Portable. The game is an action-RPG from the makers of the long running Ys series that puts players in control of Parin, a young girl who goes to live with her grandfather after her parents are sent away on an excavation trip. After being told that there are no other children in Tiese, Parin discovers what looks like another girl who is being threatened by a dog, which she later discovers is a monster that only children can see. The monster takes Parin to a crack in the back wall of the town that serves as a portal to the monster world. A group of monsters known as phantoms begin a series of attacks on Monster Village. Parin, who unearths a legendary drill, decides to fight against the phantoms and restore Monster Village.
European 3DS owners are used to having to wait it out when it comes to RPGs making the jump to their territory. That said, it’s nice to see Mastiff will be bringing the game to European RPG fans so soon after its North American release.
