Vermintide Finally Released For Consoles
This new beta is a co-operative action first person shooter and melee combat game set in the End Times period of the Warhammer world. Vermintide consists of a cooperative survival for up to four players, eighteen levels including all DLCs from the PC version, more loot opportunities, and a new story to experience for console players.
Vermintide is based in Ubersreik, a city felled by the Skaven army with very few survivors. The Skaven army consists of humanoid rats, with red glowing eyes and dripping fangs. It is up to you and three others to takedown the army and drive them out of Ubersreik once and for all. You can choose between five heroes, all different classes and race for your melee combat needs.
Publisher Fatshark and developer THQ present Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide. This is a new public beta available now for Xbox One and PS4. It gives you access to all characters and three new maps, previously only available to PC players. This includes Sigmar’s Blessing, Last Stand, Schluesseschloss, and Drachenfels, silly German puns and all.
In an attempt to promote the new release, CEO of Fatshark Martin Wahlund, weighs in on the beta stating that “we are excited to bring Vermintide to all Xbox One and Playstation 4 players. The game has reached tremendous success on PC, and now we will bring the intense Vermintide co-op experience to consoles”.
Whether or not this beta is really that exciting is up to you. Let us know in the comments how you liked the apparently challenging the co-op, or the supposedly immersive story?
