New Trailer Shows Remastered Goodness For Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

Signs of the times

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age

To coincide with the Tokyo Game Show of 2016, we’ve been treated to a new trailer of the upcoming remaster of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. As before, the game is set within the realm of Ivalice, which is being torn apart from a perpetual war between two imperial powers. The trailer showcases some of the improved visuals and environments, as well as offering fans a peek into the re-tooled gameplay.

Announced earlier this year, it’s a remake of the classic PlayStation 2 title, hoping to familiarize a new generation of players with one of the most seminal titles in the long-running Final Fantasy series. It will also feature the Zodiac Job System, which appeared in an older re-release but sadly never saw an official outing in the west.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be released in 2017 for the PlayStation 4. Direct your visual organs to the trailer below.
