Iron Fish invites players to dive into an emergent horror sandbox next month

Iron Fish

Along with space, few settings do a better job of making players feel as completely helpless and isolated as those set deep under the sea. From Bioshock to Soma, these submerged settings have successfully been used to rack the nerves of gamers as they explore derelict undersea dystopias.

Studio Beefjack today announced that Iron Fish, their upcoming PC horror title set beneath the waves of a vast ocean, is set to release on September 12. Iron Fish places you at the helm of a psychological thriller as you explore a vast underwater environment, uncovering lost civilizations and mysteries while attempting to survive the horrors of an unfriendly deep.

To celebrate the game’s upcoming release, the publisher has released a new trailer which you can find below:

So, will you be diving into this dark aquatic sandbox when Iron Fish swims onto the PC next month? Sound off in the comments below and let us know.
