#18- The Sly Collection

sly cooper

After the aforementioned adventure game phase, my family soon bought a PS2 and one game: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Little did I know that Sly Cooper was about to define my childhood and my gaming life in three fowl swoops: The Sly Trilogy. I have played each of these games at least 3 times on each console that they’re on: PS2, PS3, and Vita. My love for Sly aside, this title probably wouldn’t have a spot on my list if it wasn’t for the expert quality of the Vita versions. Ported by Sanzaru Games, this collection puts the trash heap that is the Jak and Daxter port to shame. Though it is unfortunate that the third game couldn’t be contained on the cartridge, all three games run marvelously on the Vita. I recommend these games to anyone who enjoys 3D platformers, or anyone who enjoys an easy platinum.

Caleb has been playing games since he was born... in the middle of the PlayStation 1 Era. Despite his young age, he enjoys all sorts of games from all sorts of eras, but he does prefer the PlayStation brand over everything else. Eager to talk about games to anyone and everyone who will listen, Caleb is excited to be a part of the HPP team! You can find him on twitter @caleb4tribe. Favorite games include: Persona 4 Golden, The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite, Portal 2, and Metal Gear Solid 3.
